ABOUT

laurabioTurning ideas into realities has always been my obsession.

I’m Laura Schindler, the producer, designer and owner of L’events, LLC. Once you decide to work with L’events, you get me. I am present in all design & planning meetings and handle every detail of your event, so together, we make your vision come to life.

Many clients have asked, “How did you get started?” or “What made you want to become an Event Planner?” My combined experiences of Creating, Space Planning, Project Management and Client Relations was the reason that I started L’events, Planning & Design in 2007.

I approach each and every event with passion, creative vision and a unique point of view. I am grateful that I have a business that gives me the platform to express my creativity and to create memorable celebrations that make a lasting impression.

Every day I get to interact with amazing people that entrust me in producing their dream event. Experience and relationships are everything. At L’Events I aspire to bring you more than just an event. It’s about creating an experience to remember. Whether it’s bringing a child’s vision for his/her Mitzvah to life, creating a fun and warm milestone birthday celebration, planning a professional corporate event or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding, it is important to make this YOUR one-of-a-kind event. An event unlike anyone else’s.

My Story

My love of events and art started at a young age. In high school I was fortunate to work part-time for a leading Dallas based Interior Design firm. I continued to pursue my interest in design by studying at both the University of Arizona and later at The University of Texas with a concentration in Art History.

Following college, I had the opportunity to sell some of the country’s most influential artwork, specifically many of the paintings, sculpture & mixed media that I had studied during college. I was privileged to have worked for a prominent Art Dealer with offices in San Francisco and SoHo, New York. I procured art for several of the Nation’s leading law firms and public companies including Southland Corporation, who is known for having an extensive art collection.

While I was successful, I was at a point in my life where I needed to create my own world. I needed to be an influencer. So I decided to take the plunge and make my passion my profession. In the 1980’s, I made the decision to start my own art and design advisory business and I haven’t looked back since. The next 15 years were spent building a business and spending time with my husband Richard and our three children.

The world of events is an ever growing industry that continues to redefine itself. I look forward to the challenge of influencing this change with every event I take on.
